CONCEPT

Being the journey of a wooden box (1x1x1m) completely insulated on the inside by means of a 10cm layer of mineral fibre and fitted with a recording and sound broadcasting system.

The object will be sent from Ottawa to the Casino in Luxembourg - Forum for contemporary art (first one of the movements that will take place over a period of circa one year during which the box will travel across Europe and overseas while recording its journey through the Void). The object can be described as a temporal/time capsule destined to record the whole process in order to reconstruct it by means of the sound devices once it has arrived in the gallery. Hence it operates as a map/surface of projection for the visitor and leads him to a mental journey.
